VLC Media Player plays .iso files

I just thought I'd pass this along. VLC plays .iso files without them having to be mounted. This is especially useful for playing backups of DVD's. I like to backup my DVD's as actual DVD rips not only because it's full DVD quality, but because it's way faster than spending the time to transcode to DIVX. The only issue I ever had was while this is a great backup solution, it did not yield a format that I could play, unless I wanted to actually mount the .iso. Well with VLC you don't have to. It's too bad I didn't figure it out until now, lol. I was watching DLTV and it was mentioned on the show.
