How to upgrade from mint4win to 'side by side' ?

Postby CliveT on Thu Aug 01, 2013 9:49 am

Hello
I have installed Linux Mint by using mint4win, so it runs inside windows as an application. If after some time (not long I think !) I would like to change this set up to run Linux Mint 'side by side' windows instead...is is possible to do this from my current setup ?

Regards

Clive

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Hello, Clive.

As Ubuntu and Mint are close relatives this might work for you:
Migrate Wubi Manually or
Migrate Wubi

Kind regards,
Karl

Thanks Karl

I've made my mind up and have re-installed Mint to run 'side by side' Windows instead. I am so impressed in only a short amount of time with Linux Mint - that I don't need ant more persuading and have made this decision!
Thanks again for your help Karl.
