Hey folks!
Quick background:
I am one of those MIchiganders still surviving after all the economic this and bankrupt Detroit that!
I am coming from 10 years of IT, 5 of those in monitoring systems such as the infamous Microsoft SCOM.
I have built many pcs, servers, etc. But somehow never quite lasted longer than a week on linux.
Now for the Project:
This time around I was going through the motions of another unique windows build when a collegue dared me to make it work with linux mint. So here we are today in good spirits with the latest cinnamen build installed and running.
So far quite impressed but I still have a lot of kinks to work out. Originally this machine was meant as a media server and therefore it comes installed with an AMD A10 Richland. Looks like video support is few and far between for these unique little suckers. So I plan to roll up the sleeves and see what I can dig up but worse case, there is always fun in ordering up a seperate graphics card!
I hope I don't annoy the lot with my questions and I will do my best to pay it forward whenever I can, but sincere thanks in advance!
Jerms

I was thinking the same. Mint Cini 16 was pushing back a bit with the ones built in. I saw a tutorial on here about how to properly download and install them direct from AMD, but I have also heard that is bad as well.
Either way I will play with it and post my results!
