How about support for Debian?

Postby NiksaVel on Fri May 09, 2008 12:52 pm

Hey guys,

I was wondering if it might be possible to have mintInstall install on pure Debian? I really like the sheer speed of Debian, but I miss all the nifty little stuff I get with mint... still it might be worthwhile to configure a debian install on some of my really older hardware to get a performance boost. Having the Mint Software Portal available under Debian would seriously help me out with the task :) I am sure other people would be interested in such a support too...

i.e. I've notived that the CNR is also planning a Debian support...

Windows is extremely fast after a fresh install. If you want to make it stay that way: - don't use it.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
