Nautilus has an "extension" for seahorse integration, nemo too but anybody forget caja :lol:

That sounds like something you would want to suggest to the MATE developers? Linux Mint doesn't develop MATE so I don't think any action will be taken on this suggestion here. MATE project website: http://mate-desktop.org/
