Look at remastersys in the wiki, never used it so can't help you with that :)

Look at remastersys in the wiki, never used it so can't help you with that
That is exactly what you need. It will make a (installable) live CD of your current install. It is the best backup method in my opinion.

I can agree with that,.... if.... it will fit on a cd or dvd.

Now that you mention it, I have never gotten it to fit on a CD. It will most likely make a DVD backup of your currently installed system :D
