Hi guys
I have a small problem, when I connect my secondry screen, it works fine with no issue, however when I want to change my resolution of my laptop screen, that is where the issue lies
I go to preferences > Displays and then it appear down at the taskbar (on the start menu) but the window does not appear, I have tried disconnecting my secondry screen and do the same thing but it still does not appear,
Sorry if it is something obvious, im still new to linux
btw, Linux Mint Cinnamon 64bit
Thnx in advance!

Re: System Settings window does not appear
I am not sure if you have tried this,
You can either try hitting Alt-Tab to see if you can bring it to the foreground
you can also try launching from the terminal just to see if there are errors being thrown

Code: Select all
gnome-control-center display
Re: System Settings window does not appear
thnx for the response,
I guess this was just a once off event, it was probably fix after shutdown/restart
thnx anyway!
p.s., I have another small problem, maybe you would like to have a peak
