Hi all.
I was just wondering if anyone here had tried out the gp2x?
It's awesome, I got one last autumn and have killed a LOT of time with it.
It's a handheld games machine, Running games natively or through various emulators ported to it.
A video/music media player, I keep a few films on it for long car/train journeys.
All in all an amazing little gizmo
And of course it has Linux as the operating system
I'm just looking forward now to the next generation machine due out in the summer.
The Pandora
Like the gp2x it'll be running Linux but will be much, much more powerful
and have proper 3d support (something the gp2x sadly lacked)
It'll be around £200 when it comes out but i can't wait
Ah well, there goes my summer when it's finally released.

Re: Pandora project
The gp2x gets between 2-4 hrs on two 2300mAh AA batteries
The Pandora team are claiming it'll get around 10 hrs! run time but I'm not sure what type
it'll be using.
