I need a GUI to configure Wireless LAN in LXDE.

I have never used a Mint/LXDE combination, but I think Network Manager is what you need.

It might be useful if you say what is underneath LXDE, eg. 32-bit Mint 13? LMDE?

I have installed wicd and my this problem is solved now.
