hi guys,
when i plug my laptop into the tv via hdmi I get no sound and the following error message in VLC
Potential PulseAudio version problem:
PulseAudio is streaming with an excessive latency. Sound may be lost or quality degraded.
To address that issue, upgrade the PulseAudio daemon to version 3.0, or disable the alternate sampling rate in its configuration.
would really appreciate if someone could help me with that
thank you in advance,
Goldi

Re: No sound on Tv via HDMI cable
Check if your PC/laptop can 'see' the HDMI out in "settings/sound" first.
If not, there is a fix here:

Also try updating your graphics driver:

Worked for me on ThinkPad SL510 in LM15, hope it does for you.
