Hi
I have installed a number of Nvidia drivers in linux Olivia 15 32 bit.
To be honest i haven't been happy with any of them.
I have seen on numerous websites, to install certain packages first
linux-kernel-headers *
build-essential
Are any packages needed before i install latest Nvidia gpu drivers.
It seems counter productive to not mention this before you install ?
Thanks
Install any Synaptic packages before nvidia gpu drivers?

Re: Install any Synaptic packages before nvidia gpu drivers?
It depends on how you're installing the drivers. I should think you'd only need the kernel headers and build-essential if you're installing the nvidia dkms module.
Installing nvidia-current straight from Synaptic, you shouldn't need to grab any additional packages.
