hi.. the problem i'm currently facing is that there'll be no display (only sound can be heard) whenever i m playing a video file if i'm using Compiz as the Visual Effects, whereas there'll be display and sound playback whenever i set the visual effects to none.
on a side notes, while with compiz turn on, there are display and sound if i play the movie thru MPlayer with "xv(X11/XV) or x11(XImage/Shm)" driver, but the display in full screen will be ony half. and if "gl" X11(OpenGL) driver is chosen, video playback in full screen will be very laggy..
Thanks in advance.
btw attach here is the xorg.conf..

Re: Video Playback Query
It's probably due to ATI
Some Intel cards and some ATI cards have problems with Compiz - I would skip compiz, it's not that important
