i've installed Bianca off the Live CD; all seems well.
I wanted to upgrade my alsa driver to run my HP dv200t. I've done this before more than once, each time a release candidate is published. Since installing Bianca the ./configure process reports an error:
I've looked at the config.log but it means nothing to me. I've upgraded the headers thinking this might be the problem but made not difference.john@john-laptop:/tmp/alsa-driver-1.0.14rc2$ sudo ./configure --with-debug=full --with-cards=hda-intel
Password:
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
Advice is appreciated.
