I have Linux Mint Debian Edition, 64-bit.
I just installed a new graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce GT620, and now would like to install the appropriate manufacturer's drivers.
A search for "nvidia" using Synaptic Package Manager brings up many packages.
Which one do I install? (PS: I would prefer using Synaptic Package Manager rather than some convoluted CLI command...)
Thanks.

Re: NVIDIA Driver
G'Day, I do not use "Linux Mint Debian Edition, 64-bit" but if there is a Driver Manager in Systems Settings then I would use the recomended driver. Smokey

Unfortunately there is no Driver Manager under System Settings...TopEnder wrote:G'Day, I do not use "Linux Mint Debian Edition, 64-bit" but if there is a Driver Manager in Systems Settings then I would use the recomended driver. Smokey
Re: NVIDIA Driver
Synaptic will allow you to install incompatible nVidia drivers. Since you did not state your DE, I will state that in LMDE Mate 64-bit, you can install the correct driver from the menu by System >> Preferences >> Device Driver Manager on my installation.
Another way to install the correct driver is by the simple CLI command:

Re: NVIDIA Driver
I used the sgfxi script http://smxi.org/ to get my nvidia card working.
