I have installed Mint 16 KDE 64bit on my father's laptop. I don't want to give him admin acces, but i want that he could install new games or programs through software manager and could launch updater.
With his current priviledges he cannot open Software Manager or Updater, so i would like to give him access only for this.
Can anyone tell me to which group give him acces, or is there another way of doing it.
Is there any info about groups and what in details they are?

I've answered that in another topic, see here: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 43#p798353. You can't limit a user to only be able to install packages with Software Manager, the user will then also be able to remove packages. Just a heads up on that.
