Webcam

Post by alan2273 »

I have just been given a Logitech webcam, I installed Camorama and it is working but when I click on take picture I get a box saying, could not create directory ~/Webcam_Pictures.
So I opened a terminal, typed sudo mkdir ~/Webcam_Pictures, but it will not work, where am I going wrong as I have never tried to add a directory before.

As a reference, ~ points to the current users home folder in a terminal, so ~/Webcam_Pictures would be /home/user/Webcam_Pictures
