Not sure where to look for this. I'd like to find a HUUUUGE high-res Mint logo suitable to print photo-quality 8x10 on iron-on transfer paper and put on a T-shirt. I'm likely too lazy to print this myself so I'd like to be able to take a nice graphics file to a photo print place and have them print it for me. Then I'll do the iron-on part myself.
Essentially: I want to make a Mint t-shirt for myself but lack a sufficiently high-quality logo to print for this purpose.
Ideally I'd have them print two iron-ons, one for front and one for back. Probably identical, a big logo on the back and a miniature for the left breast.

Re: Big Mint Logo
Shipping on a T-shirt from Germany to Alaska, USA, is silly. I can't figure out from that website how much they'd want to charge me on top of the 14.90 Euro for a shirt, but I'm sure it isn't free and I'm even more sure that I won't have the shirt in my hands by Saturday. Besides, why funnel them money? If I were to buy a Mint T-shirt online I'd like to support Mint by doing so, and Mint's online store hasn't re-opened.
Re: Big Mint Logo
AK Dave you can find the file herehttp://www.linuxmint-art.org/content/sh ... tent=90356 Its an SVG file which is vector and can be scaled to any size and not lose detail.
Have fun.

Re: Big Mint Logo
New problem: I cannot print a SVG onto a color printer. I'd like to take the file to a photo/print place. For $18.95(US) I can get any picture printed on a T-shirt. Easy-peasy. But the shops that do this assume I'll be bringing an image from my camera: TIF or JPG. SVG? I can view this online, but if I save it (XP) then IE doesn't know what to do with it the second time around, and I don't have any "save as" option to make it a JPG.
I don't have a clue what to do with a SVG. Do they make nice icons? Are the files handy for importing into Photoshop?

Re: Big Mint Logo
I found this thread today, as I was looking for the same thing as the original poster. The link quoted above is ... sort of bad. It points to a page that claims to have the file. Clicking for download eventually results in ".exe" file being downloaded, not an SVG. Presumably it is a dos or windows program? In either case, not an svg. So ... some sort of bait & switch spam scheme?carlos wrote:AK Dave you can find the file herehttp://www.linuxmint-art.org/content/sh ... tent=90356 Its an SVG file which is vector and can be scaled to any size and not lose detail.

Riiiiiiight.
So does there actually exist an "official" or "reference" Mint logo exists, say as an svg. Something one would direct-download with wget or some such?

High rez png.
Re: Big Mint Logo
As I said in my previous post, the link for the svg does not go to an svg. It goes to an exe.wyrdoak wrote:Have you tried to open the svg in GIMP and exporting it as a jpg?
No matter, since a decent-res png is here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File: ... x_Mint.png
