Mint Emerald Theme

And now an emerald theme using my own moving buttons.
Just get the link for it from the image and import it with the emerald theme manager.

...the only thing I altered was that I centered the text in the title bar, otherwise everything else is gr8!

Yup!
I also moved the close button about 5 ticks to get it more like the KDE 4 layout I like it!

This is now available in a deb. You can download it from here.
If you have my repo enabled it can be installed with:
sudo aptitude install cathbard-emerald-cathbard-mint

I've also edited it slightly so that the close button now bounces in the same direction as the other buttons when the mouse is hovered over it.

I'm using your emerald theme and GTK icons, and I love them! I especially appreciate the way they do not waste precious desktop space. Great work, thanx!!! :D

Id love to use it cos it looks pretty sweet but if I use compiz and emerald my pc grinds to a halt :( Not enough memory methinks.

For now I stick to gnome-compositing and metacity

You're welcome guys.
Kayaholic, I've now made a gtk/metacity theme now. Perhaps that will be more useful to you. You'll find it in the thread called "GTK Theme" in this forum.

I just found a little imperfection in the Emerald theme...
As you can see from the image, the three window buttons are not aligned one with the other, and with the window border. The central button stands out the most.
