crossvc missing from the applications menu

Post by nano »

Hello,

I've recently installed CrossVC but it doesn't appear on the applications menu list, I've even restarted X11.

/usr/share/menu/crossvc exists and the following is its content:

Code: Select all

?package(crossvc):\
	needs="X11" \
	section="Apps/Programming" \
	title="CrossVC" \
	hints="Version control,cvs" \
	longtitle="CrossVC - Graphical CVS Frontend" \
	icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/lincvs-16.xpm" \
	command="/usr/bin/crossvc"
I'm using Daryna KDE Community Edition.

Sometimes a little hands on is needed
Make an entry in the menu, I'm in gnome now so I can't tell you in detail how to do it but you should be able tho add a post to menu
with this
icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/lincvs-16.xpm" \
command="/usr/bin/crossvc"
Why this did not happen I don't know, unless it is supposed to run from terminal, which does not seem to be the case
