Emerald themes on Gnome [solved]

Post by locutus »

I'm trying to change my theme using the Emerald package that goes with compiz. I installed it from synaptic, installed a Mint-themes package that somebody gave me eons ago and it all works in KDE, but in Gnome it doesn't make any visible changes. Is it for KDE only?

It should be universal. Are the window decorations changing at all? If not, press alt+F2 and run

Code: Select all

emerald --replace
Install the fusion-icon from the repos. It will let you do this from the panel.
