No action taken on pull request

Postby blen2r on Thu Jul 12, 2012 5:33 pm

Hello everyone!

I made a small patch last month for the software manager (mintInstall) and no action was taken on my pull request. Is there anything else I should do?

Here is the pull request: https://github.com/linuxmint/mintinstall/pull/5
And the bug report page: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/802198

Thank you!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Thanks for helping! You may want to visit #linuxmint-dev, where the developers hang out (if you don't know how, open Xchat from the menu to get connected to #linuxmint-chat and #linuxmint-help, then in either type /join #linuxmint-dev to join). I think they are currently very busy with Xfce and KDE, to fix issues in the RC for final release.

Hello again, sorry to revive an old post.

I see that many pull requests have been accepted some time ago for mintInstall but the update manager still kept the version 7.3.9 (the version before all the pull requests). Is my setup broken or is it like this for everyone? If that's normal, what's the process after a pull request has been merged for it to be pushed in an update?

Thank you!
