Where did you read setting up anything in Linux is supposed to be easier than Windows? I've never seen any Linux distribution make that claim. I hope you find it to be worth it. Linux is far more powerful than Windows if you are willing to learn. Also next time just restart x-windows as was already mentioned.NickVL wrote:Ah hah! I got everything to work in Elyssa. I ended up usingand setting the display & adaptor manually. I was not aware I needed to restart the computer- I read linux did not require restarts for changes to take effect... liar...Code: Select all
