Is this a bug? [Daryna-Firefox]

Post by T J Tulley »

Several times over a period of months I have clicked the (-) box to minimize Firefox, and have instantly been taken first to a black & white text screen, then to the Gnome log-in screen, where I have had to log-in again. This is a single-user installation.

Firefox reopens with an option to restore the previous session.

BTW, often this option is offered because it reports "Firefox closed unexpectedly" when I restart after what I believe was a normal shut-down.

You need to close firefox then logoff / shutdown, else you get that message as firefox will be killed during logoff / shutdown. Regarding the minimize problem, need more details..., unfortunately I dont know how you can get those details... Just make sure your graphic card is configured properly. If possible try running in VESA mode and see if you still have problems... (I know I am not of much help...!)
