Missing cursor

Post by locutus »

In a lot of text fields on web pages (not these!) that I have to fill in I have no cursor telling me where I am, and when I do type no text appears. One example was on Google Maps: anything I typed remained blank, yet I apparently I typed correctly none the less because after I pressed Enter the Map took me right to the town I was looking for. What could cause this?

This is either a problem with Firefox or a page that is not programmed correctly
I have experienced it on occasion
It's not all other pages I hope
If you are familiar with html you could look at the page source but generally that is not easy these days....
