This is just a few thoughts so far
Please check all settings for sound - in the control center, the volume control and possibly the apps you use
If you have "mixed" settings I suppose things like this happens
But there is an amplifier in the headphone....
What's the rest of your hardware?
Run lspci and post it
Is this Elyssa? Pulse audio behaves differently, it's supposed to handle multiple sound streams simultaneously...
