k3b and brasero problems

Post by zipidachimp »

k3b brings up all my mp3s, but refuses to burn because of file format problems. it suggests I convert all files to 'wav' format first. this is a non-starter.
brasero can't find my mp3s.
what to do?

Does it say what the file format problems are ?
If not, open a terminal and enter the following command and then post the result of the command back here for us to take a look at :

Code: Select all

file /myfolder/my.mp3
Change myfolder and my.mp3 to match your system folders and file.

Mike.
