ports closed in deluge (Solved)

Post by angelbeast »

Hello. I'm using Deluge on a fresh install of Elyssa and no matter what port i set it to it always says the port i closed. I've done the port forwarding and all that jazz. Anyone know what's wrong here? *LOL*

Do you have a router or firewall that is keeping it from connecting? Is another app using that port? From the Deluge FAQ: "The official ports are 6881-6889, but most ISPs block or at least throttle those ports, so users are encouraged to use a port range of something between 49152 and 65535."

I have a router but i did the port forwarding and added the port to firestarter. I'm using the same port that i was using before and before it was working just fine.
