Elyssa XFCE CE Update 2

Post by merlwiz79 »

Currently uploading Beta 022, which will take over 3hrs to upload.
It is now updated to 8.04.1 hardy packages base.
Hopefully it will upload without problems and the team can test for errors.

Once it has passed the tests and is given the ok by Clem, it will become a public beta.
If not you might have to wait 2 weeks before I can fix the iso.
I am leaving July 7th to visit with my family and friends.(15 to 16 hr drive)
I will be gone for 2 weeks.

I will write the release notes tonight and tomorrow.
I hope to have them done tomorrow before I go to sleep.
If I have time I will write a full list of changes.

I'm in the process of installing Daryna Xfce to a friend, it was the only distro that worked out of the box on his machine!
The Xfce flavour of Mint has always been my personal favorite!
Mint Xfce FTW!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

I am gone for 2 weeks and it will be up to the team if they release the XFCE CE Beta.
Current size 671MB.
I wish I could have stayed for the release but unexpected changes moved the time we could go home.
I will be without internet pretty much the whole time. :(
