Introduction to Linux Mint Forums
Hi, I'm a new member to this forum and everything about it is strange! For example, I wrote a question and pressed the 'Submit' box and the message disappeared seemingly into the ether as I wasn't able to find it again! Are questions first put into a holding area before they are vetted and then, if they pass muster, they're posted in the appropriate topic? Does the author receive feedback when his/her question is posted? Perhaps a straightforward 'How to' would be useful to cover this very basic stuff, unless it already exists and I haven't seen it! Thank you.

As you will have seen by now you get an email notification that your post has been approved
I can't find any other post of yours and nothing of yours has been deleted
When you typed your question you probably clicked "Preview" by mistake and thought you'd clicked "Submit" - happens a lot
Retype your question in the appropriate subforum and submit it again
