From what I can see this is a windows software package ... which will probably run best under windows as that is the O/S it was written for ....

You could investigate Wine for Linux which allows windows programs to run directly under Linux wihtout using a virtualmachine ... I know
this works for some games etc.

From what I've read, Nitto 1320 Legends does work under Wine.

...is there a way to run linux with windows 2000 ??...

If you mean dual-boot, with one part of your hard drive running Windows, and one half running Linux... it's very much possible.
If you mean "run Linux" in the same way you would a normal program like MSN or the like, you may be interested in this program

...do u need a cd to install it...
Preferably, yes. You're most likely to need a CD, the reason being is that you need to restart your computer with the CD in the drive to install - just like you would when you're installing Microsoft Windows.

Your best bet is to download it bit by bit using bittorrent. Check out the http://linuxmint.com homepage links for more info.

As you don't have a CD burner, you will need to use this program, which will let you try Linux out before you get the chance to make the CD.
