Good Day,
I am using wi-fi with the above distro , as a past windows user I am really impressed with Mint Linux.
One question is there a simple applet that a newbie like myself could install so you can either hover over
or click on that automatically starts on system boot to show Data used , Sent , Received ... ?
Once again Many Thanks in advance,

use BitMeter OS - which you can get as a *.deb
- install that.
view it's output in your browser.

" BitMeter OS keeps track of how much you use your internet/network connection, and allows you to view this information via a web browser,"
