I'm running Linux Mint Daryna. I've had a few instances where the sound suddenly stopped. I kill the process (artsd) and restart the sound in system settings, but it's no help. Logging off and logging back on is no help, either. A complete restart of the OS is needed.
Is there a way to restart the sound without having to do a complete restart of the OS?
Restarting sound??
