ISO to USB?

Is it possible to install the iso to a USB pendrive ?

I'm thinking about having a 1gb+ USB pendrive and use it as a storage and linux-livedistro at the same time... is this possible somehow?

That would depend on how big the usb drive is.

If regular Ubuntu can do it, then so can the remaster since it is identical other than the fact that it is your custom setup.

Sounds really really nice!

I'm expecting to buy a 1gb usbpendrive for just $10 or something. (80danish kroners)...

And i've thinking about having a dist on it and linux mint i just SO nice

I briefly took a look at the ubuntu usb install wiki page and you could use that to put a remastered mint on flash.

I might add it later but I can't test it out since I don't have a flash drive of any kind.

By my way, I use a tool to make ISO to USB.

UNetbootin loads utilities or installs Linux/BSD to a partition or USB drive without a CD. It can use an existing disk image/kernel/initrd file, or download a supported distro or system utility (such as Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, FreeBSD, PartedMagic, etc
