new to mint: customizing panel

Post by Guest »

Hey there!

I'm coming from xubuntu and I'd like to know how to change that background image on the main panel.

thanks in advance (and sorry for the lack of self-introduction but I'm typing from my job right now)

I don't think that is possible but you can change the text and background colours by right clicking on the menu, choosing preferences, then the 'colors' tab

but I found out that it was just a matter of changing themes :)

btw, another dumb question: if I keep this rc1 installed, can I upgrade it when the final version comes out?
