Little Help With Grub

I am dual booting Windows XP & Linux Mint, the problem is i also had Vista dual booting alongside xp before i chose mint, i installed mint on the partition were vista was installed and in grub it gives me the option of other operating systems but lists Windows Vista (Loader) and then when i choose that it gives me the option of Older Versions of Windows and Vista, how can i make Grub just boot straight to windows XP instead of the windows loader. Thanks

open up your grub menu by opening a terminal and typing:

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

copy and paste the entry here so I can see it. Should be a matter of entering the following text and saving:

title XP
root (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1

You can name it whatever you want, but make sure that the disk is correct...(hd0,0)

Oh, since Vista is still written to the MBR! What you can try is booting into XP, then downloading EasyBCD. It's a bootloader editor. Also if that doesn't work do a Google search on removing it. I'm fuzzy about it since I haven't used Vista in a long time. I don't think you can just remove it through msconfig, but I could be wrong.
