Dear colleagues:
I've just installed Firefox 3 through Synaptic.The note right next to it said that this is the Beata 4 edition.
Is this the current Firefox 3 edition,or do I have to download another package?
(I've already downloaded a Firefox 3.0 .tar.bz2 package but it couldn't be installed the usual way,that's why I resorted to Synaptic).
Any help is appreciated.

FF 3 is not beta any more
You get the right version from mintUpdate (Firefox/3.0.1 (Linux Mint))
Unfortunately mintUpdate does not catch all updates when it's closed so open it (you may also have to click refresh) and you probably get the latest Firefox
