Wireless.. Again!

Post by feinar »

HI
Having trouble with wireless support with Mint LiveCD..

Since it works good with Ubuntu Hardy.. Would'nt it be very possible it will work after installation of Mint?

Like the Mint menu's better than ubuntu...

We need more info. Mint is not directly based on Ubuntu, so it should be similar, but might be a tad different. Post the output of

Code: Select all

lspci
from a terminal.

Finds the Network, and after configuration it "connects", but I get no IP... Just 0.0.0.0.

Output of iwconfig:
mint@mint ~ $ iwconfig

lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

wmaster0 no wireless extensions.

It could be Realtek or Broadcom. What brand/model is it?
