Thank you so much for your hard work clem and boo... Such a fantastic OS you have built.. I have a question this is NOT to be thought of as a flame, is there a KDE4 version? in the works? something that's "Mint-ified"

Short answer - no
It's not stable enough even if 4.1 was released recently.
If we find it stable and useful it could be used in the next version
