Hi all,
My monitor has a native 1680x1050 resolution, when Mint is booting the boot splash is not displayed fullscreen. Is there anything I can do about this ?
Cheers,
Eric

Ha ! I found /etc/usplash.conf...let's see if this works.
Re: Fullscreen boot splash (1680x1050)
I changed to resolution in /etc/usplash.conf to 1680x1050, ran update-initramfs -u -v but no luck. Seems like usplash doesn't support resolutions above 1280x1024 ?

Take a look at StartUp-Manager. Allows you to configure boot and Usplash.

yes, definitely use with caution. back up your current initramfs file before using. it's deleted mine a couple times.golinux wrote:Take a look at StartUp-Manager. Allows you to configure boot and Usplash.
