Hi, I have xubuntu installed and don't want to go through the drama of getting my wireless to work again, is there a way to upgrade/install Mint (Xfce)?
Also, can someone send me a link to a guide on optimizing partitions and how to adjust them?

No way that I'm aware of. I'd think it would be incredibly difficult at the very least. My best suggestion would be to post a question in the "wifi" section:
