Thinking of switching...
I have OpenSuSE 10.3 now & it is great, but freezes rarely (apps. freeze) & the screen goes blank like it is sleeping, but key pressing does nothing. So I was wondering what features mint has? Also I should prob. get version 4 KRE edition, cause 5 has issues.

As much as I use and love Mint it's hard to line up the benefits
The major benefit is that it looks nice and is very easy to use and has lots of gadgets to help you
