I've never had a problem connecting FROM a Linux machine TO a Windows machine using RDP. However, I would like to connect FROM a Windows machine TO a Linux machine via RDP.

When trying to I just get Access Denied errors.

There is no RDP server for Linux as far as I know. I suggest you use VNC. Didn't we already talk about this??

We certainly did and I do use VNC but...

I was lead to believe that RDP was originally a Linux "invention" but I could be wrong and as such I'm surprised that RDP does not work for it.

VNC is, yes. Some good people in a AT&T / Olivetti / Oracle joint venture research lab created it for their many UNIX-ish boxes that they had. RDP however is 100% pure Microsoft.

Another thing you might want to look at is FreeNX ... the speed is awesome ...
