So been using Mint just about a month now. I like the GUI and just about everything. Maybe not every Linux user is like me, but i'm sure i'll stop liking this and would want something better in aesthetics and feel.
I was wondering if there are customization options that are safe and ones that are tried and tested which could make the GUI look similar to modern MacOS? Scourged around the internet only to find options that have been reported to make mint crash or one's that personally feel too sophisticated and dull.
Would be useful for the community too if there could be a set of instructions to follow incase anyone wants to try this out! [Or links to already solved questions similar to this, not wasting your time ]

Whitewur theme https://github.com/vinceliuice/WhiteSur-gtk-theme
Did not try it on Mint Cinnamon though, but should work. On Mint XFCE it gives good results.
Maybe try it on a virtual machine first.
