MICE configuration (if not detected)

Post by Sonnenquelle »

Good day all.. I hope this message finds you well.

Following case: I got a mice "ROCCAT BURST" and want to deactivate the two buttons on the left side

Problem: I got Piper & Ratbagd installed on Linux Mint but will not detect the mice

Easy solution:
1. I have installed the ROCCAT Swarm "Device Mangement Software" to one of my Windows PCs
2. Within the ROCCAT Swarm APP I have set the buttons on the mice as per my wish and saved the changes
3. Now I can connect the mice to any Linux machine with the deactivated buttons

Note: as the mice settings are saved within the mice itself, you can configure your mice with any device which allows you to configure the mice.

I hope this is helpful to any other user who comes across the same case.
