When certain apps (like Steam or Zoom) are running in the background, they have an icon next to the applet panel. Where are these icons stored? I can't find them in /usr/share/icon and such. Is there a way to change them?
I'm using mint 21.3 cinnamon

Some apps have their system tray icons "hard-coded" so you cannot change them easily. (There is a tool named Hardcode-tray to change them but it's quite complicated. https://github.com/bilelmoussaoui/Hardcode-Tray/)
Some apps have their system tray icons as part of your icon theme. You need to search a folder such as:

Some apps might have their icons... elsewhere! This is a lot of work, you gotta keep searching.
