I have both UFW and Firewalld installed. Not normal, is it?

So, I discovered that I got UFW and Firewalld installed on Linux Mint 18.3 MATE.
I guess it's not good to have both of them installed at the same time.

UFW is the standard firewall coming with Linux Mint, right? So I should delete, Firewalld? :?

Yes, I had that working but sometimes it disconnected for some reason.
It seemed like other people had the same problem. But I can use the web client, it's good enough. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

I think I did something stupid, added PPAs to install app I wanted. Something is wrong with Firefox.

So, I was installing 2-3 application that needed extra PPAs. I did Google them to check if they seemed to be OK and not filled with malware... However, I did notice that Firefox is acting a bit weird. When I click on Check spelling" and then try to choose language, it shows a list with a lot ...

"No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found!"

I'm trying to install LinuxMint from a USB-memory. (I have used this USB-memory before and it booted other linux-distros fine). The problem is that it wont boot like it should. I end up getting this message: No DEFAULT or UI configuration directive found! boot: So, I searched and tried to found a so...

Working with big textfiles

I got some big textiles (200 MB). When I try to open up them in my favorite editors (Geany and gEdit) both editors just close down when they have loaded the file. I'm looking for a editor that can handle such big files. I have tried VIM but since I have to use weird commands just to navigate it I do...

Re: Users can browse eachothers home folders?

Thanks! I got it sorted out. :)

Is there any way to make the account I call "guest" only have access to his own homefolder? So he can't browse the filesystem?

This line in the conky-config did prevent Conky from getting minimized: own_window_type override
