Re: Plex media Server won't run
Have you tried "sudo service plexmediaserver start" off the command line?

Re: 19.3 to 20 and Suddenly Can't Open/Play Video Files...
OK...Color me confused. On a hunch, I deleted a few of the files that I couldn't open, right? So after deleting them, I downloaded the EXACT files AGAIN! Of course only "post upgrade". Once downloaded, guess what? They open just fine!

[Solved]19.3 to 20 and Suddenly Can't Open/Play Video Files...
Hey all, So I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my 19.3 to 20. The upgrade took a good long while, but no errors. Now suddenly I can't open video files in Handbrake, VLC, Celluloid. Videos I converted prior to the upgrade open/play just fine. I'm sure this has got to be a codec issue. Any suggesti...

Re: Suddenly Lost Ethernet Connectivity...
I did and it didn't help, but I plugged my laptop into the AP (Netgear) and no connectivity either and I know the laptop has a working Ethernet port, so I'm beginning to suspect the AP/Router now. I have another one and I'm gonna try it.

Re: Suddenly Lost Ethernet Connectivity...
I didn't, and like I said, everything was humming along nicely this morning and suddenly...BLAMMO! I lost connectivity. Any idea why the USB/Ethernet adapter wouldn't work either? The USB ports are working fine. This one really has me scratching my head. A live boot image doesn't work either. If I a...

Re: Suddenly Lost Ethernet Connectivity...
Thanks for the suggestion, but still a "no go". I tried booting from a USB boot image and still no connectivity, so I may be looking at an actual hardware failure. What I don't understand is why the USB/Ethernet adapter won't work either. Also tried removing the driver and reinstalling. No...

Suddenly Lost Ethernet Connectivity...
Hello, I'm running Linux Mint 19.2 and have been running just fine for quite sometime now. Suddenly this morning I lost my Ethernet connections (I have 2 on the mobo). I even tried my USB to Ethernet adapter to no avail. The only thing working is my wifi adapter. Any suggestions or direction would b...

Greetings Everyone!
Hello! I must say, after some consideration and looking at distros, I "took the plunge" and installed Mint/Cinnamon on my new build yesterday...and lovin' every minute of it. It "looks and feels" so clean and professional! You see, I've been running variations of Linux since 2000...
