Re: Update Recommended Memory to 4 GB RAM

I'm running Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon on an Asus A53U, 1.6 GHZ. Radeon graphics, 4GB Ram, 300GB drive(not SSD) and it runs great. Cinnamon is snappier and the overall feeling is fast.

Hi everyone,
I have been lurking for years but I can finally say I am Windows free. I am using LM19 beta upgraded with all the updates and it's rock solid.

Re: LINUX BACK TO WINDOWS???

I'll be honest, I dual boot with Windows 8.1. It's ok as I have to use it for work related programs. But my aim is to use Linux exclusively. I'm using Linux Mint 16 Cinnamon right now with plans to upgrade to LM17 when it becomes available. My experience so far is very positive.

I run Linux Mint 13 Mate on a 2 gb ram, 1 ghz dual core acer aspire a0722 netbook and have yet to have ram problems. I also boot with Windows installed (work) and it is more robust than Windows 7.
