Re: [SOLVED] Unable to boot LM 18.3 64-bit Cinnamon from Flash Drive

Hello Hugo and welcome to Linux Mint Forums, Your comments are echoed by many who do not know how an open source/ Linux distro works. In this particular case it's Nvidia that at fault as they will not release drivers for their cards as open source. That makes it very difficult for distros Like Mint ...

Re: Was systemd added to 18.3?

Systemd is not the evil one lots of people have been screaming about in fact it works quite well and if you understand the commands available you can tailor it to your needs. For most folks they won't even know they are using it. Mint and I would guess LMDE 3 when it comes out in 2018 will most like...

Re: Changing drivers in Mint

Hello Jonathan10000 and welcome to Linux Mint Forums, I don't believe it's a driver issue Nouveau will not work with amd/randon chipset. The best driver is most likely already installed but you can do a search for the other drivers in synaptic package manager and install them from there also. with y...

Hi Beacon, The commands I gave you show no wireless card, are you using a usb wireless dongle? If so give us the make model and chip set if you know them. If not it points towards a card that is switch off in bios. Since it shows not output on rfkill that usually means the card has not be detected a...
