Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar

I encourage both Sally and Palimmo to post their system specs by typing this in a terminal: inxi -Fxxxrz Post the output in "Code" tags. The button that inserts these tags is marked </> Then also start Driver Manager and report what graphic drivers are available. Here are mine: http://www...

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar

Sorry, we have not seen that problem, so can't really comment on it. Posting a picture of the problem so we don't have to rely on Redit. Pic shows DDG window with desktop wallpaper showing through on 70% of it: max3.jpg I'll do that asap. Btw it is exactly the same you posted: - Firefox title bar i...

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar

As Terryphi said, it occurs on Mint with other applications as well.
On my system exclusively with Firefox, so far.

Re: Firefox: Broken window title bar

2 more details:
- it happens always, after a new boot.
- it affects apparently only Firefox.

Firefox: Broken window title bar

Hi. In the last weeks every time I start Firefox on LM 20 (Cinnamon) I get "half-maximised" with a broken window title bar. Like on this post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/kemhqe/anyone_else_have_issues_with_firefox_opening_up/ Any ideas? Everything is up to date on ...

Re: "Oily" spots on my laptop? Or worn?

If a touchpad is already worn after a sporadic use in 6 months.. well it's not a good sign for Lenovo.

On the case:
I try every day with water and a little bit of soap...gently.. but no way to get this "fat" away...

"Oily" spots on my laptop? Or worn?

Hi! I bought ca. 6 months ago a new laptop: a Lenovo Ideapad S340, similar to this . Just a few months after I've noticed "oily" spots on the laptop: on the touchpad and mostly where I lean my wrists. Is it already worn? And/or dirty? I've already tried to clean it with water or water and ...

New update manager icon in LM 19

Hi.
Could it be possible to get the new update manager icon from LM 20 in LM 19?
The new one is a lot nicer.

Thanks!

Re: Connection suddenly slow

In my case I can confirm that LM 20 doesn't work either. I've tried a couple of different 5.x kernels.

Re: fractional scaling in Mint 20

a quick workaround for the moment: Scaling at 100%, but: generally for LM: Font selection -> Text scaling factor changed to 1.3 Font size: 11 (all) For Firefox: about:config -> layout.css.devPixelsPerPx change to 1.3 It's better but I'm not satisfied yet... (btw... the installation was flawless!)

Re: fractional scaling in Mint 20

Hi. Since on my laptop monitor (FHD) text/images are too small, I have to use the fractional scaling (125%).. otherwise I will be blind soon... At 125% it's bigger, yes, but still not ok, since everything is now blurry. How can I solve this problem? Thanks! (Furthermore: a scaling between 100% and 1...
