I'm not interested in games. Well. I have 2 laptops, with these graphic cards: - the "old" one with a nvidia geforce g105m ...

Re: AIO, HDMI Stick, Mini-PC, Monitor?
If it is not difficult, I could consider this option as well: - Buy and configure a Raspberry-Pi (never done: is it easy? I'd like just to have a access to websites and their media centers and watch movies, news, listen to music, etc.) and a new monitor. It seems to be very easy! And they launched ...

AIO, HDMI Stick, Mini-PC, Monitor?
Hi everybody. I'd like to change soon my external 24' monitor, that we use mostly to watch movies over my laptop. But since my laptop is pretty old as well (almost 10 years old, although it works with SolydK9 flawless, except in summer (overheating problems)), I'm considering some options: - Buy a n...

Re: Disks (Partition Manager) - free/used space not shown
As far as I see Disks is actually is gnome-disks.
I do not find here any complain, though.. How could it be?

Thanks for your reply.
I was wondering if this could be a bug, since this feature is a standard one in other similar softwares.

Disks (Partition Manager) - free/used space not shown
Hi.
Why in the software Disks (Partition Manager) the used and free space of a partition is not displayed?
This is an important feature, present o.g. in gparted or KDE partition manager.
Thank you.
System:
Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.1 64bit

[SOLVED] Missing Grub screen at start up
Hi.
My system starts up, skips the grub screen, where I can (if needed) choose different kernels and options, and boots immediately Linux Mint 19.
I have no dual boot system but I want the grub screen anyway.
How can I restore it?
Thanks!

Is a TV good for working (reading, writing, etc.) several hours? Comparable to a standard Monitor?
Must it be a 1080p?

TV Monitor
Do you have any experience with this new technology? I would like to buy a monitor (ca. 22/24", 1080p) to be used sometimes with my laptop (reading documents, etc...) At the same time it would be great to have a TV at home too (I'm not particularly interested in SmartTV). And I have discovered that ...
